The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Los Angeles Lakers, 138-94. Joel Embiid led the 76ers with 30 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists in his first triple-double of the year and sixth of his career. Tyrese Maxey (31 points, 8 assists) and Marcus Morris Sr. (16 points) totaled 47 points for the 76ers, who shot 22-46 from beyond the arc. LeBron James led the Lakers with 18 points while Anthony Davis totaled 17 points and 11 rebounds. The 76ers improve to 12-5 on the year as the Lakers move to 10-8.
The 22 3-point FG made by the 76ers marks the second-most in franchise history (23 3PT – April 5, 2022, PHI@IND).
This was the fourth 30-point triple-double of Embiid’s career, tying him with Charles Barkley for second-most in franchise history, only Wilt Chamberlain has more such games for Sixers (15).
Embiid compiled his eleventh 30-point game of the year, giving him the most such games in the league (L. Doncic and S. Gilgeous-Alexander w/ 10).
