The Washington Post offered live coverage on March 5 of Super Tuesday, the biggest day of the 2024 primary campaign. Fifteen states held crucial nominating contests as President Biden and Republican front-runner former president Donald Trump looked to clinch their respective party nominations. Trump’s rival, former U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley, said she would stay in the race through Super Tuesday in order to give primary voters what she called a “real choice.”
