US authorities provide an update on investigation into Trump assassination attempt

US authorities have fronted the media and spoken about the failed assassination attempt on former president Donald Trump.

FBI special agent Kevin Rojek has implored the American public to report witness statements to the FBI about the shooting that could help in their investigation.

“We are calling it an assassination attempt against our former president Donald Trump,” he said during a media conference on Sunday.
