LIVE Memorial Day services: President Trump at Arlington National Cemetery

WATCH MEMORIAL DAY SERVICES LIVE: "The National D-Day Memorial Foundation will host its annual Memorial Day ceremony honoring the men and women who gave their lives in service to the nation.

This year’s event will feature guest speaker Cindy Parsons, the mother of U.S. Army Sgt. Shane Parsons, who was critically injured while serving in Iraq in 2006. An improvised explosive device struck Shane’s convoy, causing a traumatic brain injury, multiple cardiac arrests, and the loss of both legs. Cindy, a registered nurse at the time, left her job to care for her son through extensive surgeries and a long recovery.

Her experience as a caregiver led her to become a national advocate for the families of wounded veterans. In 2009, she partnered with the Wounded Warrior Project to help pass the Caregiver and Veteran Omnibus Health Services Act of 2010, which provides support to caregivers of injured service members.

In addition to Parsons’ remarks, the ceremony will include the dedication of a new bronze plaque honoring the 2nd Infantry Division and the latest installment of engraved bricks on the Annie J. Bronson Veterans Memorial Walk."The National Veterans Memorial and Museum (NVMM)
invites the community to participate in a series of meaningful events from
Saturday, May 24, to Monday, May 26, to commemorate Memorial Day
Weekend in honor of all who have given their lives in service to our country.
Our national Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony will be held on
Monday, May 26, at 10 a.m. Keynote speaker Nate Boyer, U.S. Army Green
Beret Veteran and former NFL player, will address attendees. Tickets for
the ceremony can be reserved here. For those unable to attend in person,
the ceremony will be streamed live here. For admission to the museum on
Memorial Day, visitors will be asked to “donate what you will.”"

The 28th annual Memorial Day Program by Military Women's Memorial takes place Monday, May 26, 2025, from 3-5 p.m. at Memorial Avenue and Schley Drive in Arlington, Virginia.
