Media’s wording of Trump assassination attempt slammed

Curtin University’s Dean of Global Futures Professor Joe Siracusa has slammed the media following a shooting at former US president Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania.

Mr Trump was injured in the incident and evacuated from the site by Secret Service.

An attendee and the suspected shooter were reportedly killed.

“It took them two hours to get the word ‘assassination’ out of their throats,” Professor Siracusa told Sky News Australia.
