This trailer is a conceptual mashup that shows my idea of what a trailer for Spider-Man: Miles Morales with RJ Cyler as Miles in the Amazing Spider-Man universe might look like.

◅ On our channel we create а trailer mashups ▻
also known as recut trailers, involve collecting multiple pieces of film footage from one or multiple movies and editing them to create a new trailer. Trailer mashups are often created for a movie that does not exist now or to change the genre of an existing film. These are derivative works as defined by the United States Copyright Act 17 U.S.C. § 101, and as such, may find protection from copyright claims under the doctrine of fair use.

The trailer mashups are not only a user generated form of digital creativity but a way to create anticipation for future releases, working in tandem with current movie trailers. Movie trailers are designed to give minimal plot detail and to create hype and anticipation. Fan made trailer mashups allow the audience to perform their own cinematic spin on current movie footage. This allows the trailer to focus on a specific actor or portion of the film. It could even change the plot or genre of the film entirely.

Miles Gonzalo Morales is a fictional character, a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is one of the characters known as Spider-Man, having been created in 2011 by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Sara Pichelli, with input by Marvel's then-editor-in-chief Axel Alonso. Miles Morales first appeared in Ultimate Fallout #4 (August 2011), following the death of Peter Parker. The character was the main protagonist in the Academy Award-winning 2018 animated feature film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, in which he is voiced by Shameik Moore, as well as its 2023 and 2024 sequels.
Writer Brian Michael Bendis stated in 2014 that he favored adapting Miles Morales into a feature film in some way, as did actor Andrew Garfield, who played Spider-Man in The Amazing Spider-Man films. Producers Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach indicated in 2014 that they did not intend to have Miles or any other character replace Peter Parker in the role. Miles Morales is the protagonist of the animated Spider-Verse franchise, voiced by Shameik Moore.
