‘Real concern’: MSNBC pulls ‘Morning Joe’ show off air following ‘trust issues’
The Australian Media Writer Sophie Elsworth says it’s a “real concern” that MSNBC does not trust what its host and guests will say about Donald Trump following the horrific shooting.
MSNBC pulled the talk show ‘Morning Joe’ off the air on Monday following an assassination attempt on former US president Donald Trump during his rally in Pennsylvania.
The decision for the network to put one of its programs on the sidelines amid a seismic political news cycle week has raised some eyebrows.
“This is just unbelievable that the biggest event of this year in US politics … that this show doesn’t have the faith in their host and their guest to speak fairly and diplomatically, respectfully about Donald Trump,” Ms Elsworth said.
