Audio Description is a feature available to the blind and visually impaired. It allows a viewer with low to no vision to enjoy a film, TV show, or even a stage production. It narrates the visuals in between lines of dialog and is available on various streaming services.
AD has been critical in my own enjoyment of movies and TV shows. While many things are not yet audio described, the amount of content that is available is still quite large and varied. Here’s hoping for the increase in Audio Description for more projects in the future.
