Democrats start to concede Trump ‘not’ a ‘threat to democracy’

Newsweek Senior Editor-at-Large Josh Hammer says Democrats are starting to concede Donald Trump is “not” a “threat to democracy”.

Former US president Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt at his rally in Pennsylvania over the weekend.

Trump has announced Ohio Senator JD Vance as his running mate for the 2024 presidential election.

“Democrats are actually starting to concede out in the open that they do not think that Donald Trump is a threat to democracy,” Mr Hammer told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.
