Diddy Trial Day 6: Cassie Ventura’s former best friend takes the stand

Dawn Richard was back on the witness stand on Monday, May 19, followed by Kerry Morgan. The second week of testimony in the sex trafficking trial of Sean "Diddy" Combs began on Monday. Former Combs assistant David James took the stand for the prosecution and described working for the music mogul, saying, "This is Mr. Combs’ kingdom."
James then testified of Cassie Ventura: “She said to me, ‘Man this lifestyle is crazy.' ... She said, 'I can’t get out.' You know, 'Mr. Combs oversees so much of my life. He controls my music career, he gives me an allowance.'”
