He also comments on the ice axes, crampons, rope, and other climbing gear in "The King's Man" (2021), with Ralph Fiennes; "Vertical Limit" (2000); and "Jumanji: The Next Level" (2019), starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Karen Gillan. Gadd analyzes the realism of the ice and rock climbing displayed in "Alien vs. Predator" (2004), "Shivaay" (2016), and "The Climb" (2017).

Will Gadd is a professional Red Bull athlete, a speaker, and a guide. He has won three gold medals at the X Games and won gold at the Ice Climbing World Cup, and he is a four-time champion of the Canadian national sport-climbing championships. He was the first to ice climb Niagara Falls as well as the first to complete a one-day ascent of the tallest mountain in the Canadian Rockies, Mount Robson.

Shindo discusses the accuracy of yakuza violence in "Kill Bill: Vol. 1" (2003), starring Lucy Liu; "Avengers: Endgame" (2019), featuring Jeremy Renner; and "Deadpool 2" (2018), with Ryan Reynolds. He also comments on the portrayal of yakuza traditions in Japanese films such as "A Family" (2020), "Battles Without Honor and Humanity" (1973), "Graveyard of Honor" (2002), "Minbo" (1992), and "Sonatine" (1993). Audio Description is a feature available to the blind and visually impaired. It allows a viewer with low to no vision to enjoy a film, TV show, or even a stage production. It narrates the visuals in between lines of dialog and is available on various streaming services.

AD has been critical in my own enjoyment of movies and TV shows. While many things are not yet audio described, the amount of content that is available is still quite large and varied. Here’s hoping for the increase in Audio Description for more projects in the future.

Crime scene analyst and investigator Matthew Steiner examines more forensics investigations from movies and television. Are bodies found in freezers like the "Layla" scene from Goodfellas? Is the autopsy scene from Silence of the Lambs true to life? How much does NCIS actually get right?

Trauma surgeon and Navy veteran Dr. Peter Rhee rates 10 battlefield medical scenes in movies and television for realism.

Dr. Rhee discusses the accuracy of medical war scenes in “Hacksaw Ridge” (2016), starring Andrew Garfield; “Three Kings” (1999), featuring Mark Wahlberg and George Clooney; “Saving Private Ryan” (1998), featuring Tom Hanks; and “Cherry” (2021) with Tom Holland. He also comments on the reality of bullet and grenade wounds in “Black Hawk Down” (2001), “Band of Brothers” (2001), and “M*A*S*H” (1973) and analyzes combat medical procedures in “The Outpost” (2020), “Our Girl” (2014), and “Combat Hospital” (2011).

Dr. Peter Rhee is a trauma surgeon and a veteran of the United States Navy, where he served for 24 years. He is currently the chief of acute care surgery and trauma at the Westchester Medical Center. He wrote the book "Trauma Red" about his experience as a trauma surgeon.
