In a stressful and new age where Covid 19 pandemic rhetoric fears become colored with political strife, racism and rumors of wars, white supremacy, black lives matter movements, unemployment, human suffering, trafficking and displacement occur, this piano solo music offers a quiet response to the core issues of the heart and emotions. Meditation is essential.
Most of all it brings one in touch with Jesus Christ who is Lord and Savior, bringing the appeals of a quiet church, worship and praise into the intimacy of you and Him aided by your viewing and listening device.
Deep River is a Negro Spiritual and a Song of meditation and devotion presented here from a recording done at the Three Angels Broadcasting Network (3ABN) Television studios. This video features this tastefully rendered piano solo, calming, meditative, relaxing and therapeutic. It is a song of worship. The music was played on an acoustic Grand Piano and combines semi-classical acoustic riffs with subtle contemporary ideas. It offers a simplicity that steals the heart.
This beautiful soothing piano music lends itself to attitudes of prayer, meditation and personal devotion. With piano chords typical of Negro Spiriuals, it is meant to slow down the listeners vitals, offering music therapy suited to spa, massage rooms with a versatility suited to even hospital, hospice and other medical rooms. Well-being is at the center of its intent. It tells its story with deliberate phrases played unrushed and intentional. To calm and soothe the nerves and bring peace and contentment to the listener, this piano arrangement has a legitimate place in instrumental piano collections. Piano music for the home, office, car, church, garden, dinner and other gatherings. Whether in a coffee shop, or by a fireplace in a traditional mountain side cafe, it adds to the ambience of the Biblical and ancient story it illustrates and tells. The story of salvation, the gospel and the crucifixion echoed through time and space. Enjoy this music also while reading, studying or driving.
